Cattlemen’s Gala, fundraiser for next generation, to be held August 25

The second Cattlemen’s Gala Celebration and Fundraiser will be held Saturday, August 25 at Leeds Farm in Ostrander, Ohio. The Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) tax deductible charity, and Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) will coordinate the event.

Ohio’s cattlemen have a lot to celebrate. Plan to join the celebration on Saturday, August 25 to support the Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation youth scholarship fund benefiting the next generation of beef industry leaders. The inaugural event raised $27,000 for scholarships, and the 2018 event will build off that success.

Prior to the gala, OCA will hold a brief summer business meeting including a beef industry update. The business meeting is free to attend and open to all OCA members.

Gala attendees will gather in their boots and hats for dinner, drinks and dancing in the barn at Leeds Farm. Back by popular demand, the evening will feature live music from the John D. Hale Band, a nationally known red dirt music group from Missouri. Silent and live auctions will be held during the evening to support youth scholarships. The gala is open to all. Don’t miss what is sure to be a good time for a great cause!
