Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation Gala Hosts Successful Gala

| September 2, 2026

The Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation (OCF) hosted its annual Cattlemen’s Gala Celebration and Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, to support youth scholarships and educational programs that benefit the next generation of beef industry leaders.

Guests donned their boots and hats for an evening of dinner, refreshments and dancing, highlighted by live music from Dalton & Delaney, an acoustic duo with deep roots in Ohio’s agriculture community. The live and silent auctions were highlights of the evening, providing guests with opportunities to support the foundation’s mission while taking home unique items and experiences.

The evening was coordinated by Foundation Past President Aaron Arnett,  OCA President Lindsey Hall and Executive Director Elizabeth Harsh, who shared updates about the Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation and recognized the event’s generous sponsors and supporters who make the Gala’s success  possible.

“The Cattlemen’s Gala has grown into a tremendously successful  event,” said OCF President, Mark Goecke. “Funds raised through this event directly support the education and career goals of Ohio’s future beef industry leaders, which is ultimately about ensuring the continued success of our industry.”

The Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to students pursuing careers in the beef industry. Scholarship applications are due Oct. 31, and full details can be found at ohiocattle.org/foundation/scholarships
