NEW Ohio BEEF Youth Council Points Program
The Ohio Beef Youth Council Points Program was designed to recognize and reward youth who actively engage in Ohio's beef industry while encouraging leadership, education, service, advocacy, and career exploration. Participants earn points throughout the program year by taking part in a wide variety of activities—from attending educational events and industry programs to volunteering in their communities, promoting beef, developing leadership skills, and exploring agricultural careers. With opportunities available for every interest and schedule, the program provides meaningful ways for members to stay involved while building valuable life skills and industry connections.
At the conclusion of the program year, outstanding participants will be recognized during the Ohio Beef Youth Council End-of-Year Celebration. Awards will be presented in each of the four age divisions, with a Champion and Reserve Champion recognized in each points category, as well as the Top Five Overall Point Earners in every age division. To be eligible for year-end awards, participants must complete the Points Program Application, submit their required mid-year points checkpoint by December 31, and submit their final point totals by May 31.
